Multiplayer Mobile Games
Five online games where players compete against each other
Multiplayer games live or die by the match: finding opponents, keeping play fair and fast, and giving players a reason to come back. These five games, developed for clients, put players against each other — at the pool table, in an arena, in an election campaign, on a race track and in a rap battle.

The product
What it does, and for whom
Each game has its own genre and audience, but the same multiplayer foundations run through all of them: rooms or matches with other players, turns or real-time play, rankings, and characters or items to unlock.
Scope Each client runs its game and its store presence. To keep the clients confidential, the game names are withheld and every image on this page is new artwork recreated in the game's style for this portfolio, not a screenshot of the delivered game.

The games
Online 8-ball pool
Players take on each other at the table: line up the shot with the guide, choose the power and pot their balls. A knockout mode can end a match in a single shot, and rankings track the best players.
Arena shooter for up to eight players
Short, chaotic matches for up to eight players in cartoon arenas. Coins unlock new characters, levels and cosmetics. Every so often a red-light phase freezes the arena: anyone who moves is eliminated, although firing still counts.
Election strategy game
A real-time multiplayer strategy game about politics: players run campaigns, outsmart rivals and compete for control of the country, meeting in a waiting room before each week of play.
Racing runner
A runner where players race each other in real time through city streets, avoiding obstacles and hitting rivals with bombs, and unlock new characters as they rise in the rankings.
Rap battle
Two players face off: each picks a beat and improvises over it, working in the words or topic the game hands out, before a judge screen announces the result. Rankings keep score.
