Picture Connections Puzzle
A picture-association puzzle for phones
Every level is a grid of pictures that hides groups of four sharing a connection. The player taps four pictures they think belong together; a correct group is cleared and labelled, a wrong guess costs a life. The level is won when every group is found.

The product
What it does, and for whom
A word-free cousin of the connections puzzle: the clues are images rather than words. Difficulty comes from pictures that seem to fit more than one group.
Scope The publisher runs the game and its store presence. To keep the client confidential, the game's name is withheld and every image on this page is new artwork and screens made for this portfolio, not a screenshot of the delivered game.
Core loop
Finding a group
A level part-way through: one group solved and labelled above the grid, three pictures selected and the fourth still to find.
Look for the link
Twelve or more pictures — some belong together, some only look as if they do.
Select four
Tap four pictures you believe share a connection, then submit.
Clear the board
Correct groups are labelled and removed; wrong guesses cost one of the lives.

A board cleared
When the last group is found, every connection is shown with its label.
About these images: every image on this page is newly made for this portfolio — illustrations generated for it and screens rebuilt in HTML to keep the client confidential. It follows the game's genre and mechanics but is not a screenshot of the delivered game.
